  30. DESCRIPTION
  31.  
  32. This is an extended version of the Personal font, supporting Croatian,
  33. Polish and Slovenian, in addition to the full Amiga character set.
  34.  
  35. The font is compatible with all versions of the programs using it. A
  36. corresponding character set ("Personal.set") is included for users
  37. of the Personal Fonts Maker. The font is now completely "full": all
  38. 256 character entries are used.
  39.  
  40. In order to support the Amiga (ISO 8859-1) character set, the special
  41. characters of the Personal set, plus Croatian, Polish and Slovenian,
  42. it was not possible to follow existing character set conventions such
  43. as AmigaPL. However, this is not necessary, as this font is used only
  44. for the user interface (menus, gadgets, etc.) of programs like Personal
  45. Paint, and not in an interactive context. The important thing is that
  46. the national characters are displayed properly on the user interface,
  47. and this is guaranteed.

  49. Please note that if the old font is in use, the new font will not be
  50. used until all programs using the old font are terminated, and the old
  51. font is flushed from memory (e.g. by typing "Avail FLUSH" in the
  52. Shell).

  88. It was assumed that digraphs like "dzhacek" could be written by combining
  89. the corresponding single characters. Also, the fact that "Dbar" and "Eth"
  90. are equivalent, but "dbar" and "eth" are not, leaves out one character. If
  91. the need for this arises, it will be resolved in a future font.
